About the role
We are looking for a creative Graphic Designer who can turn a video script or idea into an eye-catching thumbnail and other designs. You will work in-house with our content team and deliver quality work on time.
Key responsibilities
- Create high-quality, click-worthy thumbnails based on video scripts and topics
- Design social media creatives, banners and other marketing graphics
- Come up with original design ideas without depending on references
- Use AI tools to speed up work (image generation, background removal, upscaling, etc.)
- Deliver work within the agreed turnaround time, including quick revisions
- Keep designs consistent with the brand's look and style
- Work closely with the content and video team and accept feedback positively
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience as a graphic designer
- Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop (must-have)
- Proven experience making thumbnails (please share your portfolio)
- Good understanding of design basics: layout, color, typography and composition
- Ability to read a script and turn it into a visual concept
- Basic knowledge of AI tools such as Midjourney, Canva AI, Adobe Firefly or ChatGPT image tools
- Creative thinking and the ability to work without a reference
- Able to work fast and handle multiple deadlines
Valuable to have
- Knowledge of Illustrator, Canva or Figma
- Basic understanding of YouTube trends and what makes viewers click
- Basic video editing knowledge
