Role Overview

Match Graphics is looking for a skilled Decor Designer with strong

Adobe Photoshop expertise to create, develop and prepare decor designs for production. The role involves designing from briefs,

digitizing scanned materials, creating seamless repeats,

preparing colour separations and developing colour options, all in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design

Creation

Create original decor designs in Photoshop according to the brief from clients or internal teams.

Scanning and development

Scan physical materials (such as wood, stone, fabric and textures)

and develop them into usable digital designs in Photoshop.

Seamless artwork

Convert artworks and designs into seamless, repeatable patterns with no visible joins or breaks.

Colour separation

Prepare accurate colour separations in Photoshop for print production.





Colour options Develop multiple colourways and colour options for each design as required.

Quality and standards

Follow Match Graphics' company standards, file formats and quality guidelines for all of the above tasks.

Knowledge & Skills

- In-depth knowledge of and hands-on experience with Adobe Photoshop
- Strong understanding of repeats, seamless tiling and colour separation
- Valuable eye for colour, texture and detail
- Ability to interpret design briefs accurately
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Qualifications

Education

Minimum Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or a related field.

Experience

Prior experience in the print industry, surface design industry or textile design industry

Software

Proficiency

High proficiency in graphic design software, including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop).

Portfolio A well-curated portfolio that showcases your design projects is required, providing evidence of your skills and creativity.
