Role Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic and technically inclined Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) to join our Technical Operations team.

This role provides structured training and hands-on exposure across Production, Machine Installation, Commissioning, Operations, Troubleshooting, and Technical Support.

The selected candidate will work closely with experienced technical teams and gain practical knowledge of industrial automation, machine vision systems, electrical and mechanical systems, and customer-site operations, building a strong foundation for a long-term engineering career.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the assembly, integration, and testing of machine vision and automation systems.

- Support the installation and commissioning of machines at customer sites.

- Assist in machine testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and basic fault diagnosis.

- Provide technical assistance during installation, commissioning, and service activities.

- Learn and work with industrial automation, sensors, electrical panels, machine vision components, and related software applications.

- Assist in identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, and system-level issues.





- Prepare and maintain installation reports, service reports, checklists, and technical documentation.

- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Installation, and Technical Support teams for smooth project execution.

- Follow company quality standards, safety procedures, and operational guidelines.

- Travel to customer locations for installation, commissioning, service, and support activities as required.

- Participate in structured technical training and continuously improve technical knowledge and practical skills.

Requirements

Must-Have

Bachelor's Degree in
- Mechatronics Engineering

- Electrical Engineering

- Electronics & Communication Engineering

- Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)

Eligibility: 2025 & 2026 pass-outs.

- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Good English communication and interpersonal skills.

- Willingness to work in a hands-on technical environment.

- Willingness to travel for installation, commissioning, and customer support activities.

- Positive attitude and strong willingness to learn.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a technical team.

Preferred Skills

- Internship or academic project experience in Industrial Automation, Manufacturing, Machine Vision, or related engineering fields.

- Basic knowledge of PLCs, sensors, electrical panels, motors, wiring, or industrial machines.

- Familiarity with technical drawings, documentation, or reporting.

- Basic understanding of troubleshooting and problem-solving.

- Interest in industrial automation and emerging technologies.

- Strong learning mindset with an interest in building a long-term engineering career.

Training Period: 6 Months

During the training period, GETs will receive practical exposure and structured learning across Production, Installation, Commissioning, Operations, and Technical Support.

Based on performance, technical skills, learning ability, discipline, and overall contribution during the training period, successful trainees may be offered permanent employment with Robro Systems.
