Role Description The Gold Loan Risk Audit role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune District. This role involves conducting regular audits of gold loan portfolios, branches, and processes to ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management guidelines. The professional will review documentation, evaluate collateral assessment procedures, verify KYC and underwriting standards, and identify potential operational or credit risks.

Daily responsibilities include preparing audit reports, recommending corrective actions, tracking implementation of audit findings, and collaborating with branch teams and risk management to strengthen controls. The role also includes supporting process improvements,



maintaining up-to-date knowledge of gold loan regulations, and contributing to training and awareness on risk and compliance practices.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of gold loan products, collateral valuation practices, and NBFC lending processes.
- Experience in internal audit, risk management, or compliance within financial services, preferably in retail lending or gold loans.
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify process gaps, and interpret regulatory and policy requirements accurately.
- Proficiency in using MS Excel and other audit or reporting tools for documentation, analysis, and presentation of findings.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for preparing clear audit reports and engaging with stakeholders at branch and regional levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications in audit or risk (such as CIA, CISA, or similar) are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel within the Pune District and nearby regions for branch audits as required.
