JOB PURPOSE

Lead the complete jewellery production function to achieve planned output, quality, delivery timelines and cost efficiency while ensuring optimum utilization of manpower, karigars, materials and production capacity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Planning & Control – Prepare daily/weekly/monthly plans; monitor order flow and ensure targets and committed delivery dates are achieved.

End-to-End Production – Supervise CAD/Model, Wax, Casting, Filing, Setting, Polishing, Finishing and Final QC processes; resolve bottlenecks.

Karigar & Manpower Management – Allocate work based on skill, monitor individual/team productivity, control idle time and develop skilled manpower.

Quality, Wastage & Cost Control – Maintain quality standards, reduce rejection/rework, monitor metal/stone wastage and improve production efficiency.

Order & Cross-Functional Coordination – Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Sales, QC and Dispatch for priority orders, material availability and timely completion.

Systems & MIS – Establish SOPs and production controls; maintain accurate MIS covering production, pending orders, productivity, wastage and delivery status.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement – Lead production managers/supervisors/karigars,



conduct review meetings, set KPIs and drive process improvement.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

10–15+ years of relevant experience in jewellery manufacturing/production, preferably in Gold & Diamond jewellery.

Strong knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes, karigar operations, quality control, production planning and wastage management.

Proven experience managing large production teams with robust leadership, discipline, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Working knowledge of ERP/production MIS; exposure to CAD/CAM, Casting and Stone Setting will be an advantage.

SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE The incumbent will be responsible for building a disciplined, productive and quality-focused production system that consistently delivers the right product, at the right quality, cost and time.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹98,065.87 per month
