About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled GNSS Receiver Lead / Engineer to join our team at VyomIC, where we are building India's next-generation Global LEO-PNT (Positioning, Navigation, and Timing) satellite constellation.

The role involves designing, simulating, testing, and optimizing advanced GNSS/PNT signals and receiver algorithms. You will work on acquisition, tracking, navigation message decoding, and Position, Velocity, and Time (PVT) estimation.

You will collaborate with signal processing, system engineering, and hardware teams to develop robust receiver solutions for LEO-PNT applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, simulate, and validate advanced GNSS/PNT signal structures for LEO satellite applications.
- Develop and implement GNSS receiver algorithms, including acquisition, tracking, and navigation message decoding.
- Design and optimize PLL, DLL, and FLL tracking loops.
- Perform Doppler search, code phase estimation, and signal synchronization.
- Analyze signal performance under noise, multipath, interference, and jamming conditions.
- Develop and validate signal acquisition, tracking, and decoding algorithms.
- Work on signal compatibility and interoperability with existing GNSS systems.
- Develop and test software-defined receivers using SDR platforms and hardware-in-the-loop setups.
- Collaborate with hardware, mission design,



and GNSS teams to integrate signal designs into receiver and payload platforms.
- Stay updated on GNSS standards, LEO-PNT technologies, and industry advancements.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in GNSS receiver development, signal processing, or a related field.
- Robust understanding of GNSS signal processing and receiver architecture.
- Hands-on experience with acquisition and tracking algorithms.
- Good knowledge of PLL, DLL, and FLL tracking loops.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C/C++.
- Understanding of modulation techniques such as BPSK, QPSK, and BOC.
- Familiarity with SDR tools such as GNU Radio and Octave.
- Experience processing IQ data and developing receiver pipelines.
- Understanding of GNSS performance metrics, including C/N₀, SNR, and tracking accuracy.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in GNSS/PNT signal processing and LEO-PNT systems.
- Hands-on experience with SDR implementation and real-time receiver development.
- Knowledge of error correction coding and decoding.
- Experience in interference mitigation and anti-jamming/anti-spoofing techniques.
- Exposure to FPGA/DSP implementations and software-defined receivers.
- Experience in hardware testing, validation, and system integration.
- Ability to debug the complete receiver pipeline, from signal acquisition and tracking to PVT estimation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with cross-functional engineering teams
