Roles and Responsibilities:

- Define and finalize genset control system architecture based on product and customer requirements.

- Design and develop electrical harnesses for genset control systems.

- Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of genset control and electrical systems.

- Support genset-level DVPR activities including steady-state and transient performance validation.

- Ensure compliance with EMC requirements and support equipotential testing activities.

- Integrate company-developed and third-party controllers into genset control systems.

- Support controller configuration, commissioning, validation, and issue resolution.

- Execute genset-to-genset synchronization activities and performance validation.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for design implementation, testing, and product release.

- Manage engineering documentation and support Windchill part release processes.

- Support regulatory compliance activities and ensure adherence to applicable standards.

- Participate in system validation, testing, and product improvement initiatives.

- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and validation records.

- Support issue investigation, corrective actions, and continuous product enhancement activities.

Skills and Experience Required:





- 5–7 years of experience in genset controls, engine controls, or power generation systems.

- BE in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or allied disciplines.

- Strong understanding of genset control systems and control architecture development.

- Experience in electrical harness design and integration.

- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting electrical, controls, and automation systems.

- Knowledge of DVPR activities including steady-state and transient performance validation.

- Understanding of EMC requirements and electrical validation testing.

- Experience integrating OEM and third-party controllers.

- Knowledge of genset synchronization concepts and implementation.

- Experience with Windchill PLM and engineering part release processes.

- Basic understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to power generation products.

- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Positive communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

- Experience working with product development, validation, and release processes.
