Key Responsibilities

- Deliver network change projects on time, including:
- NPI launches in the external network
- Transfer of API or drug product between/to third parties

- Integration or divestment projects
- Lead multiple projects in parallel of varying magnitude and complexity
- Monitor project scope, cost, schedule, risk, quality, and benefits against the approved business case
- Manage matrix teams to deliver project objectives
- Develop execution plans to deliver business case outcomes
- Provide inputs and/or co-author business case development
- Manage project reporting through a tiered accountability process
- Ensure key stakeholders and sponsors are informed of progress and issues through regular governance meetings

Accountability
- Manage strategic external network change projects to deliver business case objectives related to cost, benefits, and timelines
- Establish multi-site and multifunctional teams to execute projects such as:

- Product transfers

- New product introductions

- Special projects as required
- Plan and facilitate joint planning sessions, team meetings, and interventions
- Establish, monitor, and track project schedules and implement corrective actions when required
- Lead risk management and mitigation planning activities
- Chair steering team meetings to identify risks, resolve issues, and support decision-making
- Track project finances to ensure benefit delivery and manage deviations
- Report project progress to steering teams, PMOs, and senior management forums
- Lead project after-action reviews to improve ENC processes
- Drive continuous improvement in project management awareness and capabilities across the ENC team




- Support the development and enhancement of project management processes and tools
- Ensure compliance with GSK policies, SOPs, and guidelines
- Demonstrate GSK leadership essentials in all work activities

Complexity
- Manage multiple concurrent projects
- Ensure projects comply with relevant GSK policies
- Work with matrix teams from donor and receiving sites as well as functional groups including Regulatory, Quality, and Logistics across multiple geographies
- Manage cultural differences impacting ways of working
- Navigate conflicts of interest between sites and divisions to achieve optimal outcomes for GSK
- Lead teams in resolving technical and scheduling challenges impacting project benefits
- Manage Change Requests through Pharma Supply Chain governance where required

Education:

Minimum:

- Degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical supply chain

Preferred:

- PRINCE2 or PMP certification (Desirable)

Required Experience:
- Competent in project management
- Experience managing project budgets greater than 1 million
- Experience managing capital investments (desirable)
- Good understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain operations and business processes
- Experience leading teams in a matrix workplace
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Experience in risk management and mitigation
- Financial acumen
