Role Description The General Physician will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients at Chemist Basket’s on-site facility in Raipur. This full-time role includes conducting patient consultations, performing physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans aligned with current medical guidelines.

The physician will monitor patient progress, maintain accurate medical records, and collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Additional responsibilities include offering preventive health advice, participating in patient education initiatives,



and supporting internal training and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage a broad range of common acute and chronic conditions.
- Experience or interest in Family Medicine, focusing on holistic, long-term care for individuals and families.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing and other clinical staff to deliver safe and efficient patient care.
- Capability to provide Training and guidance to junior medical staff and support ongoing clinical education.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and valid license/registration to practice as a physician in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Strong clinical judgment, ethical decision-making, and adherence to evidence-based practice and safety standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills, with a patient-centric approach.
- Willingness to work on-site in Raipur and participate in regular schedules, including possible weekends or extended hours as needed.
