Job Summary

Job Overview As a Senior GCP Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. You will be responsible for providing expert-level technical guidance, as well as designing and deploying robust, scalable, and cost-effective GCP solutions while ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Architecture: Design, develop, and implement scalable and resilient GCP solutions with CI/CD pipelines, leveraging Google Cloud services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and more.

Cloud Infrastructure Management: Lead efforts to manage and optimize cloud resources, including monitoring, scaling, and cost control, to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.

Security and Compliance: Ensure that GCP solutions meet security and compliance requirements, implementing necessary controls and protocols.

Automation and DevOps: Drive automation initiatives and promote DevOps practices to streamline deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud services.





Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and best practices.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and security teams, to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Proven experience as a GCP Engineer or Architect, with a minimum of 5 recent years of relevant experience.

Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification is highly desirable.

Strong expertise in GCP services, architecture, and solutions.

Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing complex technical challenges.

Robust communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards within cloud environments.
