Responsibilities:

- Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including Upper GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, Polypectomy, Variceal Band Ligation, PEG Tube insertion, and Liver Biopsy.
- Evaluate and manage patients with complex GI conditions such as IBD, hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver, pancreatitis, and gallbladder disorders.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic GI bleeding, including endoscopic hemostasis and intervention.
- Conduct and interpret results from Capsule Endoscopy and other advanced imaging modalities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, patient history, and diagnostic data.
- Collaborate with hepatologists, surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists in multidisciplinary care teams.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and hospital-based research projects.
- Provide patient education on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care.




- Support training and mentorship of junior medical staff and residents, as required.

Requirements:

- MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Medicine (MD/DM in Gastroenterology) or equivalent.
- Valid medical license and registration with the Medical Council of India (or relevant regulatory body).
- Proficiency in performing and interpreting Upper GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, Polypectomy, Variceal Band Ligation, PEG Tube placement, Liver Biopsy, and Capsule Endoscopy.
- Demonstrated experience in managing GI bleeding, IBD, hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver, pancreatitis, and gallbladder disorders.
- Solid clinical acumen, attention to detail, and ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning, adherence to clinical guidelines, and evidence-based practice.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties as per hospital requirements.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and digital documentation.
