About The Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Game Designer with expertise in board game reasoning to join our team remotely. This full time position involves working closely with an AI development team to enhance the training and evaluation of next-generation artificial intelligence models. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of game mechanics, strategic reasoning, probability, and complex rule systems, and will play a pivotal role in creating and reviewing datasets that improve AI reasoning capabilities.

As a remote role, it offers flexibility and the opportunity to collaborate with a global team, contributing significantly to advancements in AI through the lens of game theory and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background and relevant experience, including:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, cognitive science, game design, philosophy, economics, or a related analytical discipline.
- At least two years of professional or semi-professional experience in board game design, playtesting, tabletop gaming communities, or related strategic environments.
- Proficiency in logic, probabilistic reasoning, and understanding of complex game mechanics and rule systems.
- Knowledge of game theory,



behavioral economics, decision science, or formal logic is highly desirable.
- Exceptional written communication skills for documenting evaluation results, creating guidelines, and developing datasets.

Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks aimed at enhancing AI reasoning through game-based datasets, including:

- Creating and reviewing game-based reasoning tasks designed to evaluate AI systems' strategic and logical capabilities.
- Analyzing various board game scenarios, strategic decision trees, and rule-based systems for dataset development.
- Evaluating AI-generated responses for correctness, logical consistency, and reasoning quality to identify areas for improvement.
- Developing prompts, rubrics, and evaluation guidelines tailored to board game and strategy-focused tasks.
- Identifying logical errors, rule violations, and flawed reasoning in AI outputs and contributing to the creation of benchmark datasets.
