About This Role

We are looking for a hands-on Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable web applications using React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, APIs and modern database technologies.

Description

- Design, develop, test and maintain production-ready full-stack web applications.
- Build responsive, reusable and maintainable user interfaces using React.js, JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design application architecture across frontend, backend, APIs and database layers.
- Design database schemas and implement efficient data storage and retrieval using MongoDB and relational databases.
- Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar relational database technologies where appropriate.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs, third-party APIs and external services.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth and role-based access control.
- Develop reusable components, services and modules following clean software engineering practices.
- Implement validation, error handling, logging and secure API workflows.
- Optimize frontend rendering, backend performance, API response times and database queries.
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, staging and production environments.
- Write unit, integration and API tests to improve application reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
- Work with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and modern deployment environments.
- Participate in CI/CD and production release processes.
- Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate Generative AI, RAG and other AI-powered capabilities into applications.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers and product teams to deliver complete software products.




- Maintain technical documentation and contribute throughout the complete software development lifecycle.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in full-stack web application development.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with React.js.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Good understanding of frontend and backend application architecture.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, asynchronous JavaScript and browser fundamentals.
- Experience with MongoDB.
- Working knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar technologies.
- Experience with database schema design and query optimisation.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, JWT, OAuth and role-based access control.
- Experience with Git and cooperative software development workflows.
- Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of application security and secure API development practices.
- Ability to write clean, reusable, scalable and maintainable code.
- Ability to explain applications personally developed, including architecture decisions, API design, database design, debugging approach and individual contribution.
- Experience with React Router and modern state-management approaches is an advantage.
- Experience with Prisma, Mongoose or similar ORM/ODM technologies is an advantage.
- Experience with Docker and application deployment is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
- Experience with third-party API integrations is an advantage.
- Experience with unit, integration and API testing is an advantage.
- Familiarity with cloud deployment environments is an advantage.
- Exposure to integrating AI or LLM-based services into web applications is an added advantage.
