Role Description This is a full-time, in office Field Service Engineer (FSE) role based in Ahmedabad. The FSE will install, configure, and maintain Paytm devices and payment solutions at merchant locations, ensuring all systems function smoothly. The role involves daily visits to customer sites, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with internal technical teams when needed.

The FSE will provide hands-on customer service, train merchants on using Paytm products, and document service activities and issues for follow-up. The role requires consistent on-site presence, timely response to service requests,



and clear communication with customers and team members.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Field Service and onsite support skills for handling installations and visits to merchant locations.
- Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose, resolve, and escalate technical issues as needed.
- Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance skills to regularly inspect and maintain devices, reducing downtime and improving performance.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to interact professionally with merchants, explain solutions, and provide training on Paytm products.
- Candidates should have good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in the field, managing schedules independently, and handling multiple service requests.
- Candidates with experience in digital payments, fintech, or POS systems will be preferred.
- Candidates should have a relevant diploma or degree in engineering, electronics, IT, or a related technical field.
