RiNVENT Industries Pvt. Ltd., founded in 2015, is an Indian OEM building smart-grid automation products for power distribution utilities. Our work spans SCADA/DMS and LDMS software for DISCOM control centres, RTUs and FRTUs, data concentrator units, fault passage indicators, transformer monitoring units, and utility communication gateways (IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 61850, ICCP/TASE.2) running over MPLS-VPN and cellular networks. Our products are deployed with state DISCOMs across India.

The Role

You'll join our engineering team as a trainee and learn how utility substations are monitored and controlled end to end, from field devices and protocols through communication networks to control-centre software. You'll work under senior engineers on live DISCOM projects, including lab testing, site integration, and software development.

What You'll Do

- Assist in configuring, testing, and commissioning SCADA/LDMS systems for 33/11 kV substations
- Map field points and test IEC 60870-5-104 and IEC 61850 communication between RTUs/DCUs and control-centre software
- Set up and troubleshoot communication links: Ethernet, serial (RS-232/485), MPLS-VPN, 4G/APN, and VPN
- Support development and testing of our Windows/.NET and embedded Linux applications
- Prepare station single line diagrams, point lists,



test reports, and commissioning documents
- Travel to substations and utility offices in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for integration and site acceptance tests

Who Should Apply

- B.E./B.Tech in EEE, ECE, or EIE (2026 pass-outs only); B.Tech in CSE (2026) also welcome
- Solid fundamentals in power systems: substations, feeders, transformers, CTs/PTs, protection basics
- Basic networking knowledge: IP addressing, subnetting, TCP/IP, routing
- Programming exposure in any of C#, C/C++, SQL etc. for CSE
- Willingness to work in substations and travel for field work
- Clear written and spoken English; Telugu is an advantage

Good to Have

- Final-year project in SCADA, smart grid, IoT, embedded systems, or networking
- Familiarity with Modbus, IEC 104, or IEC 61850
- Basic / Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, or microcontrollers
