Job Summary

Orbit Strategies is looking for an experienced Freelance MSEDCL Solar Coordinator to independently handle MSEDCL application and approval processes for rooftop solar projects.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience with MSEDCL, solar net metering and DISCOM processes and should be able to manage assigned projects from application submission through the agreed completion milestone.

Responsibilities

- Handle MSEDCL applications for rooftop solar projects.
- Prepare and verify required application documents.
- Submit and track applications on relevant MSEDCL platforms.
- Coordinate with customers for required documents and signatures.
- Follow up with MSEDCL offices regarding applications and approvals.
- Coordinate site inspections and technical feasibility requirements.
- Coordinate net-metering / meter-related activities.
- Coordinate with Orbit's technical and installation teams.
- Resolve documentation and process-related issues.
- Track projects and ensure completion within agreed timelines.
- Provide regular status updates and submit relevant approval/commissioning documents.





Requirements
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in MSEDCL solar applications / net metering.
- Practical experience with rooftop solar projects.
- Positive understanding of MSEDCL documentation and procedures.
- Ability to independently handle assigned applications/projects.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Willingness to visit MSEDCL offices/sites when required.
- Marathi and Hindi communication skills preferred.

Engagement & Payment
- Freelance / Project-based engagement
- No fixed working hours.
- Projects will be assigned based on business requirements.
- Payment will be per project / agreed milestone, depending on scope.
- Payment terms will be discussed and mutually agreed before assignment.
