SkillCircle is looking for an experienced Freelance Data Science Trainer to conduct offline training sessions for students at our Patiala campus.
The trainer will be responsible for conducting assigned batches, delivering practical and industry-relevant training, guiding students through hands-on exercises and projects, and supporting their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assigned Data Science batches and classroom sessions as per the agreed schedule.
- Deliver concepts in a structured and practical manner using real-world examples and use cases.
- Conduct hands-on exercises, assignments, and projects.
- Address student queries and provide guidance on technical concepts and projects.
- Monitor student progress and provide relevant feedback.
- Coordinate with the SkillCircle Academic/Training Team regarding batch schedules and requirements.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned modules and maintain an engaging classroom environment.
Required Technical Skills
Strong practical knowledge of
- Python, NumPy & Pandas
- Data Cleaning & Pre-processing
- EDA & Data Visualization
- Statistics
- SQL
- Machine Learning
- Supervised & Unsupervised Learning
- Model Evaluation
- Jupyter Notebook / Google Colab
- Data Science Projects
- Knowledge of Deep Learning, NLP, or Generative AI will be an added advantage.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5+ years of relevant industry experience in Data Science, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or related domains.
- Prior training/teaching/mentoring experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
- Robust hands-on knowledge of relevant Data Science tools and technologies.
- Comfortable conducting offline classroom training at SkillCircle, Patiala.
Freelance Engagement
- The trainer will conduct specific batches/sessions during the day based on SkillCircle’s training requirements.
- Sessions will be conducted offline at the Patiala campus only.
- Schedule and batch requirements will be mutually agreed upon in advance.
- Compensation will be discussed based on experience, expertise, and assigned training requirements.
