About the RoleWe’re looking for a hands-on Fractional Finance Manager / Finance Controller to build and manage the finance function at an early-stage, rapid-growing business.

This is not a traditional bookkeeping role. You’ll work closely with the founders and operations team to bring financial visibility, cash-flow discipline and strong working-capital management into the business.

The role can start on a part-time/fractional basis, with the potential to expand as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

- Own daily/weekly cash-flow visibility and cash planning
- Manage working capital, receivables and payables
- Oversee inventory accounting and reconciliation
- Manage and optimise vendor payables and payment cycles
- Coordinate GST, TDS and other statutory compliances with external partners
- Build and maintain MIS, financial dashboards and management reports
- Track unit economics, gross margins and contribution margins
- Analyse business performance and identify financial leakages




- Set up finance processes, controls and reporting from the ground up
- Work with ERP and accounting software to maintain accurate financial data
- Partner with founders and operations on budgeting, procurement and financial decisions

What We’re Looking For
- 5–10 years of relevant finance experience
- Experience in startups, D2C, quick commerce, distribution, e-commerce or similar businesses
- Strong understanding of working-capital management
- Hands-on experience with inventory accounting and vendor payables
- Good understanding of GST, TDS and statutory compliance
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets and MIS/dashboarding skills
- Experience working with ERP + accounting software
- Ability to understand and analyse unit economics and contribution margins
- Comfortable working in an early-stage, fast-moving environment
- Someone who can work independently and build processes rather than just manage existing ones
