ABOUT EQUIPSETU

EquipSetu is building a managed B2B marketplace for construction equipment rentals, starting in Assam. We aim to help contractors access equipment more easily while helping equipment owners improve asset utilisation.

We are inviting applications for three separate functional opportunities within our founding team. Applicants should select the area that best matches their experience and interests.

MARKETING & GROWTH

Responsibilities

- Plan and execute social media content and campaigns.
- Help develop EquipSetu’s brand messaging and online presence.
- Research customers, competitors and local market opportunities.
- Support lead-generation campaigns and community outreach.
- Track campaign results and recommend improvements.

Relevant skills

Content writing, social media management, basic design, digital marketing, market research or campaign analytics.

FINANCE & BUSINESS STRATEGY

Responsibilities

- Support budgeting, cash-flow forecasts and expense tracking.
- Help analyse pricing, commissions and unit economics.
- Maintain organised financial working sheets and internal reports.
- Support financial projections and investor materials.
- Coordinate financial information with the founder and external accountant.

Relevant skills

Excel/Google Sheets, financial analysis, budgeting, bookkeeping fundamentals or business planning.

SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Responsibilities

- Identify and approach equipment owners, contractors and potential partners.
- Explain EquipSetu’s offering and understand prospective customers’ needs.
- Support equipment-owner onboarding and relationship management.
- Maintain lead records,



follow-ups and progress in the CRM.
- Gather market feedback and help improve the sales process.

Relevant skills

Prospecting, communication, relationship building, negotiation, CRM management or B2B sales.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Relevant practical experience through employment, freelancing, projects, internships or running a business.
- Passion for building an early-stage startup.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative and accept feedback.
- Reliability, explicit communication and ownership of agreed responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate remotely.

No specific degree or prestigious college background is required. We value demonstrated skills and contribution.

COMPENSATION AND ENGAGEMENT

There is currently no salary or stipend.

Following external funding, possible paid engagement and compensation for earlier contributions will be considered based on funding availability, role, commitment, performance and contribution review.

Any future arrangement will require a separate written agreement. Funding, future employment, payment for past contributions and equity are not guaranteed. The founding team designation does not automatically confer shareholding or directorship.

Scope, expected availability, review arrangements and engagement terms will be agreed in writing before work begins.
