About Position:

We are looking for a highly skilled Forward Deployment Engineer with expertise in Data Integration, Connector Development, and Python Backend Engineering. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data connectors and integration pipelines that power marketing measurement, analytics, and client data onboarding solutions. You will work closely with clients, product managers, data strategists, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable integration solutions across diverse data ecosystems.

What You'll Do:

- Design, develop, and maintain reusable data connectors for client applications, advertising platforms, CRM systems, POS solutions, and third-party APIs.
- Develop scalable data ingestion frameworks and ETL/ELT pipelines to support business-critical data integrations.
- Own the complete connector lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, versioning, monitoring, and enhancements.
- Implement integrations using REST APIs, OAuth authentication, API Keys, pagination, and rate-limiting mechanisms.
- Manage schema evolution, data mapping, backward compatibility, and validation requirements across integrated systems.
- Build highly reliable and production-ready data pipelines with comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting capabilities.
- Collaborate with Data Strategists, Product Managers, Client Technical Teams, and stakeholders to onboard new client data sources.
- Troubleshoot integration challenges and provide scalable technical solutions for complex data requirements.
- Improve platform performance, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Implement observability frameworks using logs,



metrics, dashboards, and monitoring tools.
- Follow engineering best practices related to security, deployment automation, testing, documentation, and code quality.
- Support production environments and drive continuous improvements in platform stability and reliability.
- Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 6-10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Backend Development, Data Integration, or Platform Engineering.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python development and backend engineering.
- Extensive experience with REST API integrations, OAuth authentication, API Keys, pagination, rate limiting, and API lifecycle management.
- Proven experience designing and developing enterprise-grade data connectors and integration frameworks.
- Strong expertise in ETL/ELT processes, data ingestion pipelines, and workflow orchestration.
- Advanced SQL skills for data analysis, validation, troubleshooting, and transformation.
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of connector lifecycle management and Git-based development practices.
- Experience managing schema evolution, metadata handling, data mapping, and backward compatibility.
- Expertise in observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, ELK Stack, Grafana, or related technologies.




- Hands-on experience with Docker-based deployment and containerized applications.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and technical documentation capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple client integrations simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong ownership mindset with end-to-end accountability for solution delivery.
