Operations Management: Oversee the daily functioning of pumps, blowers, bar screens, clarifiers, aeration tanks, and chemical dosing systems.
Team Supervision: Assign daily shifts, schedule work crews, train current operators, and evaluate performance.
Maintenance & Repairs: Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) infrastructure.
Quality & Compliance: Monitor water testing parameters (such as pH, BOD, COD, TDS, and turbidity) to meet statutory environmental discharge norms.
Safety & Reporting: Enforce safety protocols (especially for confined spaces or hazardous chemicals) and maintain logs on chemical usage, power consumption, and sludge disposal
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering, or a certified trade vocational course.
Experience : : 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in operating and maintaining STP, WTP, or ETP plants.
