Role Description The Food and Beverage Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based at Aldovia Resort & Convention in Bengaluru. This role supports daily operations across the resort’s restaurants, bars, banquet venues, and event spaces, ensuring guests receive courteous, timely, and high-quality food and beverage service.

Responsibilities include assisting with table setup and clearing, presenting menus, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and responding to guest requests in a qualified and friendly manner.



The Food and Beverage Assistant works closely with kitchen and service teams to support food preparation and service coordination, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, and uphold safety and quality guidelines. The role also involves helping with buffet and banquet arrangements for conventions, weddings, and corporate events, while consistently reflecting Aldovia’s standard of graceful, efficient hospitality.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Food & Beverage operations and Food Service for restaurant and banquet environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Food Preparation to support basic kitchen tasks and ensure quality and presentation standards.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to create positive guest experiences and handle requests or concerns professionally.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with colleagues and interact clearly and respectfully with guests.
- Prior experience in hotels, resorts, or restaurants is preferred, especially in front-of-house or banquet service roles.
- Knowledge of basic hygiene, safety, and sanitation practices in food and beverage settings is beneficial.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to stand or walk for extended periods.
- A hospitality-related diploma or certification is an advantage; a strong service mindset and willingness to learn are essential.
