MINIMUM 3 to 5 Years

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

- Measure and mark materials accurately using measuring and marking tools.

- Perform fitting operations such as cutting, filing, drilling, grinding, tapping, and reaming.

- Assemble and dismantle machines, mechanical components, and equipment.

- Install components such as bearings, shafts, gears, couplings, valves, and fasteners.

- Check dimensions, alignment, clearances, and tolerances using vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments.

- Identify mechanical faults and carry out maintenance and repairs.

- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and positioning of machinery and components.





- Operate and maintain fitting-shop tools and equipment safely.

- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and workplace standards.

- Maintain tools, equipment, and the work area in clean and serviceable condition.

- Perform quality inspections to ensure finished work meets specifications.

- Record maintenance activities, measurements, defects, and completed work when required.

- Coordinate with maintenance, production, welding, machining, and engineering teams.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
