We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Firewall SME with deep expertise in Fortinet FortiGate and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) technologies. The candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, administration, optimization, and troubleshooting of enterprise firewall environments, ensuring secure and resilient network operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L3/L4 technical expertise for FortiGate and Cisco FTD firewall platforms.
- Perform firewall policy analysis, rule creation, optimization, and lifecycle management.
- Design, implement, and support firewall solutions for enterprise and cloud-connected environments.
- Execute firewall migrations, upgrades, patching, and platform refresh activities.
- Investigate and resolve complex network security incidents and firewall-related issues.
- Configure and administer VPN technologies including Site-to-Site VPN and Remote Access VPN.
- Perform security assessments, risk reviews, and firewall rule recertification activities.
- Support change management, incident management, problem management, and RCA activities.
- Collaborate with network, security, cloud, and infrastructure teams on security initiatives.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
- Participate in on-call support and provide guidance during critical incidents.
