We are looking for a highly experienced Finance Leader / CFO-level professional in India who has substantial experience working directly with U.S.-based companies.

We need someone who can work closely with a U.S. business owner and own the financial function—including financial reporting, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, controls, and strategic decision-making.

Critical Requirement – U.S. Experience

You must have hands-on experience with:

- U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP)
- U.S. financial reporting and accounting practices
- U.S. companies, preferably working directly with U.S. clients or management
- U.S. tax and compliance concepts
- U.S. accounting systems and financial processes
- Communicating with U.S. business owners, executives, CPAs, or auditors

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the senior financial advisor to the U.S. client
- Own and oversee the company's financial reporting and accounting function
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
- Develop budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and financial models
- Monitor profitability, margins, working capital, and cash flow
- Provide management with transparent financial insights and recommendations
- Establish and improve financial controls and processes




- Analyze financial performance and identify risks and opportunities
- Work with external CPAs, tax professionals, auditors, and other advisors
- Support tax planning and financial compliance in coordination with U.S. professionals
- Assist with business planning, growth strategy, acquisitions, investments, and other major financial decisions
- Build dashboards and KPIs that help leadership understand the health of the business
- Translate complex financial information into simple, actionable recommendations for business owners
- Help the client make better decisions around hiring, pricing, expenses, investments, and growth

What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience
- Previous experience in a CFO, VP Finance, Finance Director, Controller, or equivalent senior role
- Significant hands-on experience working with U.S. companies - mandatory
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience with accounting/ERP platforms such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets and financial modeling skills
- CPA, CA, CMA, MBA Finance, or similar advanced qualification preferred
