Role Summary The Finance Manager is responsible for the financial health, accuracy, and compliance of Maini Rental Solutions — owning budgeting, accounting, GST compliance, and financial reporting, while ensuring the business operates within a strong governance framework and giving leadership explicit, reliable financial visibility.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Diligence

- Own budgeting, business accounting (ledgers, reconciliations, AP/AR), and financial reporting with accuracy and compliance.
- Manage end-to-end GST compliance — timely return filing, input tax credit reconciliation, and resolution of mismatches or notices — along with other statutory and vendor payment obligations.
- Provide financial insights and analysis that support sound, data-backed business decisions, and build well-controlled processes as the business scales.
- Conduct due diligence on customer credit checks and rental agreements, assessing creditworthiness and ensuring commercial terms are financially sound before onboarding.

Organisational Governance

- Ensure the business operates within policy, statutory, and regulatory guardrails, with strong documentation and audit readiness.




- Identify and flag compliance or operational risks to leadership with practical solutions, and strengthen internal controls as the organization grows.

Qualifications & Experience

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory, with a minimum of 5 years of post-CA experience in finance or accounts, ideally in a rental, logistics, or asset-heavy business.
- Hands-on experience in business accounting operations and end-to-end GST compliance, along with strong knowledge of Indian statutory compliance (TDS, audit, and regulatory filings).
- Proficiency with accounting/ERP tools and MS Excel/Google Sheets, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Leadership.

What Success Looks Like in the First 6 Months

- Financial reporting, budgeting, and GST/statutory compliance run accurately, on schedule, and with zero lapses.
- Governance processes and internal controls operate smoothly, giving leadership clear, reliable financial visibility.
