ECOIL (KNP Arises Green Energy Pvt. Ltd.) is a green-energy organization focused on converting used cooking oil into eco-friendly biofuel. ECOIL works toward reducing oil adulteration, protecting public health, and minimizing environmental impact through responsible collection and conversion of used cooking oil.

As a growing, execution-focused organization, ECOIL operates in a startup environment where finance needs to be both control-oriented and business-oriented—supporting rapid growth while maintaining strong financial discipline, compliance, visibility and governance.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Finance Controller to lead the organization's finance and controllership function. The role will own financial reporting, accounting controls, cash-flow management, budgeting, compliance coordination, MIS and financial governance. The ideal candidate should have 8 years of relevant experience, be CA Inter or CA Passed, and have meaningful experience working in a startup / high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Controllership: Own day-to-day finance controls, accounting governance, month-end and year-end closing, reconciliations and financial accuracy.
- Financial Reporting & MIS: Prepare timely monthly MIS, P&L;, balance sheet, cash-flow reports, management dashboards and business performance analysis.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Drive annual budgets, rolling forecasts, variance analysis and scenario planning in partnership with business leaders.
- Cash Flow & Working Capital: Monitor cash position, receivables, payables, working capital cycles and liquidity requirements; establish strong cash controls.
- Compliance Coordination: Coordinate with internal/external advisors for GST, TDS,



income tax, statutory filings, audits and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Audit & Controls: Manage statutory/internal audit coordination, strengthen SOPs, approval matrices, reconciliations and internal financial controls.
- Business Finance: Partner with leadership on pricing, unit economics, cost optimization, profitability analysis and investment/business decisions.
- Startup Finance: Build scalable finance processes, reporting systems and controls suitable for a rapidly growing organization.
- Management / Investor Reporting: Support leadership with financial packs, cash-flow visibility, key metrics, analysis and decision-support information.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor and develop the finance/accounts team while ensuring clear ownership, timelines and process discipline.

Candidate Profile

- Experience: 8 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, controllership or a similar leadership role.
- Qualification: CA Inter / CA Passed is mandatory.
- Startup Experience: Mandatory experience working in a startup, scale-up or high-growth business environment.
- Core Skills: Financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, MIS, audit, compliance and internal controls.
- Technology:



Strong command of MS Excel / Google Sheets; experience with ERP/accounting systems and finance automation is preferred.
- Business Orientation: Ability to translate financial data into practical business insights and support leadership decisions.
- Leadership: Strong ownership, attention to detail, process orientation and ability to work independently in a quick-paced environment.
