The Opportunity:

Our accounts team maintains strong, accurate books. What we need now is someone who can turn those books into insight — explicit numbers that show how every showroom, every product, and the company as a whole is performing, and why.

This role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, sales, and leadership.

As a Finance Analyst – MIS & FP&A;, you will own both sides of business finance: MIS that shows how we are performing today, and planning (FP&A;) that shapes where we go next.

You will start by building a strong MIS foundation — accurate P&Ls; for every showroom, product, and the company — and then lead budgeting, forecasting, and business cases that guide our expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. P&L; Ownership – Showroom, City & Company:

- Build and own monthly P&L; for each company showroom, each city market, and the consolidated company
- Define and apply cost allocation rules for shared costs (rent, salaries, marketing, central teams)
- Reconcile all P&Ls; with the books of accounts so every number ties back
- Prepare periodic revenue-share statements for business partners with full reconciliation

2. Product & Margin Analysis:

- Build product and category-level P&L; — selling price, discounts,



cost, gross margin, and contribution
- Work with Production & Supply Chain on product costing (BOM, labour, overheads)
- Identify margin leakages — discounts, cost increases, low-margin bundles — and recommend fixes
- Support pricing, discount, and product-mix decisions with clear analysis

3. MIS, Dashboards & Business Insights:

- Deliver a monthly MIS pack for leadership — revenue by channel, margins, key costs, receivables, and cash position
- Build live dashboards for leadership and showroom managers (Power BI / Google Sheets / ERP)
- Track business KPIs — showroom performance, order value, conversion, collections, working capital
- Answer the “why” behind the numbers — explain every major movement in plain language

4. Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning (FP&A;):

- Prepare the annual budget with department heads and track budget vs actual every month
- Maintain a rolling forecast of revenue, cost, and cash
- Build business cases and unit economics for new showrooms, cities, and product lines
- Run scenario analysis to support leadership decisions

5. Review, Data Quality & Process:

- Review month-end books for completeness — missing accruals, wrong classifications, unusual entries
- Set the month-end closing calendar with the accounts team and track timelines
- Define the chart of accounts and cost centre structure; ensure every transaction is tagged to the right showroom and product in the ERP
- Automate recurring reports and document each one as a simple SOP

Who Can Apply :

Education & Experience

– CMA / CA Inter with 2 years in MIS, FP&A;, or business finance — preferred

– MBA Finance (with B.Com / BBA) and 2 years of hands-on FP&A; or business finance experience





– Data or business analysts from finance teams with a commerce background and strong accounting fundamentals will also be considered

– 2 years of experience building P&Ls;, MIS reports, budgets, or financial dashboards

– Prior experience in retail, multi-branch, franchise, consumer products, or manufacturing businesses is a strong advantage

Technical Skills

– Strong understanding of P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow, and cost accounting — you can read the books and spot what's wrong

– Advanced Excel — pivot tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, financial modelling, and dashboards

– Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools

– Working knowledge of Tally Prime or any ERP system

– SQL or Python for data analysis is a plus
