Role Description This full-time Field Services Engineer role is an on-site position based in the Greater Hyderabad Area.

The Field Services

Engineer will install, commission, and maintain chromatography and related instrumentation at customer locations, ensuring reliable performance and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance, performing diagnostics, and troubleshooting technical issues on-site and remotely. The role involves providing technical support and training to users, documenting service activities, and coordinating with internal engineering and product teams to resolve complex problems.

Engineer will also support customer relationships through explicit communication, timely follow-up, and a professional service-oriented approach.

Qualifications

- Strong field service capabilities, including experience with installation, commissioning, and on-site support of scientific or industrial equipment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostics for electromechanical or analytical instruments, ideally chromatography or HPLC systems.
- Experience providing technical support and guidance to end users, with clear documentation and effective communication.
- Hands-on expertise in preventive maintenance, calibration, and performance verification of laboratory or process instruments.
- Demonstrated customer service skills, with the ability to manage expectations, build trust, and maintain professional relationships.
- Relevant technical degree or diploma (e.g., Instrumentation, Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field).
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical or laboratory environments and applicable safety standards is an advantage.
- Ability to travel within the Greater Hyderabad Area and occasionally to other regions across India as required.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
