About the Role

Clixxo is looking for a hands-on and technically robust Field Service Engineer to install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot telecom, voice and ICT solutions at customer locations. The candidate should be comfortable working independently at customer sites, diagnosing technical issues, coordinating with internal support teams and ensuring timely resolution of service requirements. This is primarily a field-based technical role requiring regular travel within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, commission and maintain Clixxo telecom and communication solutions at customer locations.
- Provide on-site technical support for IP-PBX, IP Phones, VoIP Gateways, SIP-based solutions and related equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and configuration-related issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot SIP trunks, extensions, call routing, IVR, hunt groups and other telephony features.
- Perform basic networking configuration and troubleshooting involving LAN, WAN, IP addressing, routers, switches and firewalls.
- Conduct site surveys and understand customer infrastructure before installation or deployment.
- Provide product demonstrations, basic user training and technical guidance where required.
- Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled service visits.
- Support remote troubleshooting when required.
- Maintain proper records of installations, service calls, configurations and customer complaints.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior technical teams with complete diagnostic information.
- Follow company processes for installation, service reporting and equipment handling.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, IT,



Communication Engineering or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in field service, technical support, telecom, networking or system integration.
- Basic understanding of IP-PBX, VoIP, SIP and enterprise telephony.
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking, LAN/WAN and IP addressing.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues.
- Comfortable working with customer networks and existing IT/telecom infrastructure.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently at customer sites.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following will have an advantage:

- IP-PBX and enterprise telephony systems
- IP Phones and VoIP Gateways
- SIP trunks and SIP configuration
- PRI/E1 and traditional telephony interfaces
- Routers, switches and basic firewall configuration
- Telecom and networking equipment installation
- System Integration projects
- Remote technical support

A valid driving licence and own two-wheeler/vehicle would be an added advantage.
