Role Description The Field Marketing Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Vishakhapatnam. This role involves visiting clients and prospects to promote SMIE Industries’ pumping and power transmission solutions, conducting product demonstrations, and supporting local sales initiatives. The representative will gather market insights, identify current business opportunities, and execute field marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility.

Daily responsibilities include maintaining strong relationships with customers, coordinating with the sales and technical teams, and ensuring that customer feedback is captured and communicated.



The role also requires accurate reporting of activities, participation in events and exhibitions, and adherence to company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

- Strong field marketing skills, including planning and executing on-site campaigns and promotional activities.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present products and solutions clearly.
- Customer service and sales skills to support lead generation, follow-up, and conversion.
- Basic understanding of industrial products, preferably in pumping and power transmission, or willingness to learn.
- Proven ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and meet targets.
- Comfort with using digital tools for reporting, CRM updates, and communication.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in field marketing, sales, or customer-facing roles in industrial or related sectors is an advantage.
