We are looking for an experienced Fashion Merchandiser who has worked in apparel merchandising, preferably women’s ethnic wear.

This role is suitable for someone who can independently coordinate with designers, vendors, suppliers, sampling teams, production teams, and inventory teams to ensure products are developed and delivered on time, within the required quality and costing.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate product development from design concept to final production
- Work with designers on product specifications and collection requirements
- Prepare and maintain tech packs, BOMs, costing sheets, product development sheets, and order details
- Source fabrics, trims, accessories, embellishments, and other materials
- Coordinate with fabric suppliers, printers, embroidery vendors, manufacturers, and job workers
- Follow up on sampling, corrections, approvals, and production timelines
- Track samples and ensure timely completion
- Maintain costing, consumption, measurements, and material details
- Negotiate with vendors for pricing, quality, and delivery timelines
- Coordinate with production teams for smooth and timely order execution
- Monitor production progress and resolve delays or product-related issues
- Check product quality against approved samples and specifications
- Maintain vendor and supplier records
- Track purchase orders, quantities, dispatches, and delivery schedules
- Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams when required
- Monitor fashion trends, fabrics, competitor products, pricing, and customer demand
- Maintain seasonal collection and production calendars




- Prepare sampling, costing, production, and delivery reports

Must-Have Skills

✅ 2–3 years of experience in Fashion Merchandising / Apparel Merchandising

✅ Good understanding of apparel production processes

✅ Knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, printing, embroidery, embellishments, and finishing

✅ Robust vendor coordination and follow-up skills

✅ Good costing and negotiation skills

✅ Ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines

✅ Positive knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets

✅ Strong communication and problem-solving skills

✅ Excellent attention to detail

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following will be given preference:

- Women’s ethnic wear
- Kurta sets
- Anarkalis
- Dresses
- Festive and occasion wear
- Embroidery and printed garments
- Handcrafted or artisan-based apparel

Experience working with Indian textile suppliers, garment manufacturers, embroidery vendors, printing units, and job workers will be an added advantage.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in any of the following is preferred:

- Fashion Merchandising
- Fashion Design
- Apparel Production
- Textile Design
- Related Fashion or Textile Field
