1. Master’s degree with minimum 55% in Psychology or a related discipline
2. PhD
3. Minimum 5 years of Full time work experience
4. Upskilling through FDPs / Certifications / MooCs
5. Experienced candidates will be given preference

Minimum Eligibility and Qualifications for Associate Professor

1. Master’s degree with minimum 55% in Psychology or a related discipline
2. PhD
3. Minimum 8 years of Full-time work experience of which minimum 2 years post PhD
4. Proven research track record and Citations, i-10 index and h-index.
5. Upskilling through FDPs / Certifications / MooCs

Desirable Qualifications

Role & Responsibilities

1. Teaching core and elective courses in Psychology (e.g., Organizational Behaviour, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Behavioral Science, Counselling Psychology, Positive Psychology) across undergraduate, postgraduate, and interdisciplinary programmes.
2. Academic advising, mentoring, and supervision of student research projects, dissertations, fieldwork, internships, psychological assessments, and applied research initiatives.
3. Design and implementation of experiential, case-based,



and research-driven pedagogy, including lab-based learning (Psychology Labs), psychometric testing, simulations, behavioral experiments, and evidence-based intervention frameworks.
4. Contribution to curriculum design, course structuring, assessment rubrics, and assurance of learning metrics in alignment with accreditation and quality benchmarks.
5. Active engagement in research, publications in peer-reviewed journals, conference presentations, funded projects, and Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) aligned with career progression norms.
6. Support for accreditation, ranking, ethical compliance (including research ethics and human subject protocols), and institutional quality assurance processes.
7. Collaboration with industry, hospitals, NGOs, schools, corporates, and mental health organizations for internships, live projects, psychological testing, counselling initiatives, and applied behavioural research partnerships.
