Sunpower India Ventures Pvt. Ltd. is building a large integrated horticulture cluster covering pomegranate, grapes, banana and onion across Sangli and Solapur districts, backed by a pack-house, cold chain and processing infrastructure. We're looking for an Export Manager to take the cluster's produce to global markets.

? Location: Sangola (Solapur) / Pune HO , with travel to the cluster and ports

? Experience: 8–12 years in fresh fruit & vegetable exports

Key Responsibilities

Build and run the cluster's export programme for pomegranate, grapes, banana and onion to the Gulf, Europe, South Asia and Far East markets

Develop overseas buyers and importers; negotiate pricing, contracts, Incoterms and payment terms (LC/advance)

Manage APEDA registrations and farm/pack-house registration on AnarNet, GrapeNet and HortiNet, along with traceability compliance

Ensure MRL/residue compliance, phytosanitary certification and country-specific protocols

Set export-grade specs for sorting, grading, packing and labelling with the pack-house team

Plan reefer container movement, port handling (JNPT/Mundra)



and documentation with logistics partners

Work with the agronomy team so farm practices meet export residue and quality standards from the start

Track market intelligence, prices and current destinations; prepare the annual export plan and targets

Requirements

Graduate/PG in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agri-Business or International Trade

Hands-on experience in fresh produce exports, with pomegranate or grape experience strongly preferred

Working knowledge of APEDA procedures, export documentation, phytosanitary and MRL norms An existing buyer network in at least one major export market

English, Hindi and Marathi

Good to have: GlobalG.A.P. / BRCGS exposure, reefer logistics experience, and the ability to set up an export desk from scratch To apply, send your CV to [email protected] with the subject line Export Manager – Preferred Location.
