An Export Sales Manager in the yarn industry oversees international sales, drives global market growth for textile yarn products, and manages overseas client relationships and regulatory compliance.

Role Overview

- Job Title: Export Manager / Export Sales Manager – Yarn &
- Textiles

- Industry: Textile Manufacturing, Spinning Mills, International Trade.

- Experience Required: Typically 4 to 10+ years of direct experience in international B2B sales or export operations within the textile/yarn sector.

- Education Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Technology/Engineering or a Business/Commerce degree (MBA in International Business/Marketing preferred).

Key Responsibilities

- Business Development: Develop and execute strategic export plans to expand the international customer base, identifying recent overseas markets, agents, and distributors.

- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with global buyers, handling inquiries, price negotiations, contract finalizations, and order confirmations.

- Technical &
- Product Knowledge:

Understand specific yarn parameters—such as count, denier, filament, composition (synthetic, cotton, blended), and end-use applications—to address client specifications.

- Cross-Functional Coordination:



Work closely with internal production, quality control, planning, logistics, and finance teams to ensure on-time dispatch and order fulfillment.

- Export Operations &

- Compliance:

Oversee end-to-end documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), Certificates of Origin (COO), Shipping Bills, and Letter of Credit (LC) negotiations in line with DGFT, RBI, and ICEGATE guidelines.

- Market Intelligence: Monitor global market trends, competitor pricing, and trade policy shifts to adjust sales strategies and prepare management MIS reports.

- Global Travel: Undertake international travel for client meetings and major textile trade exhibitions.

Required Skills &

- Competencies

- Deep understanding of INCOTERMS 2020 (FOB, CIF, CFR, etc.) and sea/air freight forwarding logistics.

- Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to meet or exceed export revenue and profitability targets.

- Excellent written/verbal communication, cross-cultural negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and CRM tools.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
