Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Data Warehouse Testing Engineer to validate and ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of data across Data Warehouse, ETL, and Reporting systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL, Data Warehousing concepts, ETL testing, and source-to-target data validation.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements, data models, and source-to-target mapping documents.
- Develop test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for Data Warehouse projects.
- Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Perform data reconciliation and source-to-target validation.
- Verify data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity across systems.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
- Validate reports, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions.
- Perform backend testing using complex SQL queries.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, ETL Developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders.
- Prepare test execution reports and quality metrics.

Required Skills
- Strong experience in Data Warehouse Testing and ETL Testing.
- Advanced SQL skills including joins, subqueries, aggregations, and stored procedures.
- Robust understanding of Data Warehousing Concepts:
- Fact and Dimension Tables
- Star Schema
- Snowflake Schema
- Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD)
- OLAP Concepts

- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, SSIS,



Talend, DataStage, or Ab Initio.
- Expertise in source-to-target data validation and data reconciliation.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Cloud Data Warehouses:
- Snowflake
- Amazon Redshift
- Azure Synapse
- Google BigQuery

- Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Cognos.
- Basic automation knowledge using Python or SQL scripting.
- Experience with Data Lake and Data Migration Testing.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- ISTQB or relevant Data Testing certifications are preferred.
