We are looking for an experienced Estimation Engineer with 3–6 years of relevant experience in Electrical Panel Manufacturing / Switchgear / LT & HT Panels.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for LT/HT electrical panels and switchgear.
- Review customer enquiries, technical specifications, BOQ and tender documents.
- Prepare BOM and material costing based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with the Design, Purchase, Production and Sales teams for accurate estimation.
- Analyse material, labour and manufacturing costs to prepare competitive quotations.
- Evaluate vendor quotations and obtain updated material prices.
- Ensure accurate costing, margins and timely submission of quotations.
- Support the sales team with technical and commercial inputs during tendering.
- Maintain estimation records and costing data for future reference.
Required Skills
- 3–6 years of experience in Electrical Estimation/Costing, preferably in a panel manufacturing company.
- Good knowledge of LT/HT Panels, PCC, MCC, APFC, AMF, DG Synchronizing Panels, VFD Panels, etc.
- Knowledge of electrical components, switchgear and panel manufacturing processes.
- Ability to understand electrical drawings, SLDs, BOQs and technical specifications.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and costing/estimation techniques.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
