Electrical Estimation Engineer Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimation Engineer with 2–4 years of experience to handle costing, estimation, and tendering activities for electrical projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates by reviewing drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical projects.
- Perform quantity take-offs and prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
- Conduct rate analysis and cost evaluations for materials, manpower, and installation works.
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, specifications, and tender documents.
- Prepare tender documentation and ensure timely submission of bids.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations.
- Evaluate supplier quotations, compare prices, and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Support project bidding activities by providing accurate technical and commercial inputs.
- Prepare estimates for HT & LT electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and related electrical works.
- Maintain estimation records, cost databases, vendor quotations, and historical pricing data.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project quality and specifications.
- Ensure estimates comply with project standards, client requirements,



and applicable industry practices.

Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of HT/LT electrical systems, power distribution, and lighting systems.
- Good understanding of electrical installation, materials, and project costing.
- Basic understanding of MEP estimation concepts.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, BOQs, specifications, and tender documents.
- Knowledge of electrical materials, including cables, panels, transformers, switchgear, lighting, earthing, and related accessories.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and vendor coordination skills.
- Robust time management skills with the ability to meet tender deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–4 years of experience in electrical estimation and tendering.
- Experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and cost estimation.
- Familiarity with electrical materials, installation practices, and project costing.
- Experience in HT/LT electrical project estimation will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
