Role Description

We're looking for a hardcore builder to join the core team as Entrepreneur in Residence. If you've built a startup before, know the grind, and are looking for the right launchpad to restart and build something massive — this is for you. You'll operate across strategy, product, and execution, moving rapid in 0-to-1 chaos rather than waiting for a defined lane. High ownership is the baseline: you treat this like your own business, not someone else's assignment. Full-time, 100% in-office in Kolkata.

as an Entrepreneur in Residence at EternUp, you will explore, validate, and incubate new ventures within the ecosystem, with a focus on longevity, deep tech, and productivity tools. You will spend your days researching markets and technologies, developing hypotheses, designing experiments, and running lean tests to identify high-potential product and business opportunities. You will collaborate closely with founders, engineers, and designers to shape product concepts, craft go-to-market strategies, and drive early customer discovery and pilot programs.

You will be responsible for building business cases, preparing investor-ready narratives, and defining milestones for future spin-outs or internal product lines. This is a full-time hybrid role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area,



with a mix of in-person collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Ex-founder or early-stage operator who has lived the 0-to-1 grind, not just studied it
- High ownership — makes calls, drives outcomes, doesn't wait to be told what's next
- Comfortable driving strategy, product, and relentless execution simultaneously
- Able to move across domains — deep tech, consumer AI, and beyond — without needing a fixed brief
- Ready to go all-in, in-office, from day one
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with experience in founding, co-founding, or significantly shaping early-stage startups, ideally in deep tech, AI, healthtech, or productivity tools.
- Proficiency in market research, opportunity sizing, and hypothesis-driven experimentation to validate new product and business ideas.
- Ability to design lean MVPs, run customer interviews, and iterate quickly based on qualitative and quantitative feedback.
- Experience in business modeling, unit economics, and preparing pitch decks, investment theses, and strategic roadmaps.
- Comfort working with or around emerging technologies such as AI agents, data platforms, or biotech tools, with the ability to translate complexity into clear product value.
- Strong communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to align cross-functional teams around a shared vision.
- High ownership, adaptability, and resilience in ambiguous environments, with a bias toward action and measurable outcomes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, engineering, science, or a related field; equivalent practical experience in startups or venture building is highly valued.
