Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Network Administrator with hands-on experience in network infrastructure, firewalls, routing, switching, wireless networking and network troubleshooting. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining network availability, resolving incidents and service requests, monitoring infrastructure and ensuring SLA compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure and troubleshoot FortiGate/Sophos Firewalls.
- Configure firewall interfaces, routing, NAT, security policies and VPNs.
- Configure and troubleshoot SSL VPN and Site-to-Site VPN.
- Manage UTM features including Web Filtering, Application Filtering and IPS.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot network switches.
- Manage VLANs, VLAN interfaces, trunking, routing, DHCP, port security and Spanning Tree Protocol.
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN and internet connectivity issues.
- Use network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, Nagios and SolarWinds.
- Perform network troubleshooting to identify and resolve complex network issues.
- Suggest improvements related to network performance, capacity and scalability.
- Support networking and security requirements in AWS and Microsoft Azure environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot Wireless Access Points and Controllers.
- Maintain network configuration documents, procedures and best practices.
- Maintain IT asset records and software license/subscription details.




- Coordinate with vendors for technical support and issue resolution.
- Handle incidents and service requests through the helpdesk/ticketing system.
- Ensure tickets are updated with proper worklogs and resolved within SLA.
- Escalate issues to the Service Delivery Manager when required.
- Follow ITIL processes related to incident, service request, problem and change management.
- Provide occasional after-hours support during emergencies and weekend maintenance activities.
- Maintain inventory, configuration, warranty and subscription information.
- Ensure proper documentation and timely communication with customers/stakeholders.

Required Skills
- 2–4 years of relevant experience as a Network Administrator, Network Technician or similar role.
- Solid knowledge of Routing, Switching, Firewall and Wireless Networking.
- Hands-on experience with FortiGate or Sophos Firewall.
- Knowledge of VLAN, Trunking, STP, DHCP, routing and port security.
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Wireshark, Nagios and/or SolarWinds.
- Basic understanding of AWS/Azure networking.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.




- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- ITIL/helpdesk process familiarity.
- Ability to work within defined SLAs and handle escalations.

- CCNA – Optional
- CompTIA A+ – Optional
- CompTIA Network+ – Optional
- FortiGate/NSE-related knowledge or certification – Preferred
