Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Engineering Trainee role based in Palakkad.

The Engineering

Trainee will assist in the installation, repair, maintenance, and calibration of biomedical equipment at client locations under the guidance of senior engineers. Daily tasks include performing basic diagnostics, conducting preventive maintenance checks, documenting service activities, and supporting safety and performance testing of devices. The role also involves learning equipment-specific procedures, following technical manuals,



adhering to safety protocols, and coordinating with the service team to ensure timely resolution of equipment issues.

The trainee will be expected to maintain accurate records, communicate clearly with hospital and lab staff, and continuously update technical knowledge through on-the-job training.

Qualifications

- B.E/B.TECH Degree in Biomedical Engineering.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for identifying equipment faults and assisting with repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Attention to detail and competence in documentation, including service reports, maintenance logs, and calibration records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with healthcare staff and work effectively within a service team.
- Ability to follow safety standards and protocols while working with medical devices in clinical environments.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related technical discipline.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to current technologies, and travel within india for on-site service when required.
- Familiarity with hospital environments or prior internship experience in biomedical equipment servicing is an added advantage.
