The Engineer is responsible for contributing to the end‑to‑end software development lifecycle for wireless communication systems. The role supports product research and development by participating in design, implementation, testing, integration, and continuous improvement activities, while working within established architectural guidance and engineering processes.

Mandatory skills:

- Candidate should possess hands on experience on Layer-1, algorithm design, implementation and optimization on DSP, ASSP Processors, FPGA platform
- Design, implement and test real-time L1 Baseband software for 5G-NR, LTE-A, O-RAN nodes on ARM CPU Cores and DSP cores
- Experience in L1 SW optimization for performance, memory utilization on real-time embedded DSP platform and ensure that design meets performance requirements.
- Should be specialized in system engineering aspects, design and evaluate complex algorithms in MATLAB/C Setting.
- Should have in depth knowledge of 3GPP layer 1 specifications & Algorithms for 4G /NB-IoT/5G, ORAN Split definitions, Conformance Test Criterions




- Candidate should have a deep understanding of various lab equipment such as - signal generators, signal and spectrum analyzers, channel emulators.
- Good understanding of wireless communication fundamentals and its application in design.

Desired skills:

- Familiar with any of these technologies OFDM, massive-MIMO, Beam Management, Physical channels, CPRI/eCPRI interface.
- Should have work experience in eNodeB/gNodeB/UE L1 SW development. Familiar with any RAN Platform architecture, L1 Schedulers
- Good debugging skills, log analysis and solving Field issues.

Responsibilities

- Contribute to assigned stages of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and integration
- Ensure software meets defined performance, stability, and quality objectives
- Execute and support unit, integration, and systemlevel testing activities using signal generators, test vectors & vector signal analyzers.
- Support system integration, validation, and user acceptance activities in coordination with crossfunctional teams
- Identify, analyze, and resolve software defects and support corrective actions
- Maintain required technical documentation in line with approved engineering and quality standards
- Participate in technical reviews, discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ramp-up on telecom domain across technologies like 4G, 5G and 6G.
- Ramp-up on the assigned modules towards their software & design aspects
- Ramp-up on production grade software & design aspects
- Ramp-up on right ways of AI usage and use it for enhanced productivity

Qualifications

- Experience:



1 to 3 years’ experience from Telecommunication or Networking background.
- Education: B.Tech/BE (CSE/ECE/EEE/IS) or any other equivalent degree
- Candidate should have good coding skills in C/C++
