Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Semiconductors Ind Pvt Ltd, Mumbai, India is currently seeking applicants for an Engineer Production.

What you will be doing:

- Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining methods, operation sequence and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, sub assemblies, and final assemblies.
- Interfaces with engineering in coordinating the release of current products.
- Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
- As required, maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
- Conduct small group meetings and quality circle activities to improve productivity and cross functional communication
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for quality, productivity, cost reduction, and waste elimination.
- Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
- Lead training, skill enhancement programs, and maintain training records and skill matrices.




- Responsible for meeting manufacturing key performance Indicators:

- Production compliance

- Yield variance

- Material usage variance

- Labor hrs recovery

- Cycle time

- OQM

- Inventory Management
- Responsible for effective & efficient use of Manpower, Machine & Material.
- Supervise & develop personnel to ensure intended processes / operations are managed efficiently.
- Promote / encourage open & transparent communication on shop floor.
- Share / communicate shop floor performance / concern areas to operators in small group meetings.
- Optimize manpower, machine utilization, and material consumption to achieve operational targets.
- Analyze production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide support in resolving customer complaints or issues.
- Drive training & associated skill enhancement programs & maintain records for the same (training record & skill matrix)
- Initiate motivational programs & other engagement activities for operator.
- Monitor operators attendance & leave plan.
- Participate and support companywide Environment Health & Safety Program.
- Maintain production floor & surrounding area neat and clean.

What will you bring along:

- Should have 4+ yrs of exp in Production/manufacturing.
- Adhere to company policies, discipline, rules & regulation.
- Pro-actively participate in various Meetings.
- Present data / analysis in an effective manner.




- Provide accurate and timely update on various commitments.
- Develop and practice both verbal and written professional communication skills.
- Develop and maintain professional & cordial relationships with superiors, peers & subordinates.
- Participate in 5S drive.
- Follow procedures as per ISO 9k, 14k, 45k Standard.
- Drive cost reduction, waste elimination, and productivity improvement projects.
- Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
- Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction projects (Lean, Kaizen, 5S).
- Led root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for production and quality issues.
- Supported capacity expansion, automation, and new product introduction projects.
- Ensured timely execution of production plans while maintaining inventory and customer delivery commitment.
