Job Summary:

We are looking for a Lead Engineer – Production Planning & Control (PPC) to manage production planning, scheduling, capacity utilization, WIP control, material availability, and customer delivery commitments for our Aerospace Investment Casting operations.

The role requires strong coordination with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Purchase, Commercial, and external suppliers to ensure smooth production flow and achieve Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Master Production Plans, Production Schedules, and Daily/Weekly Production Plans based on customer demand and business requirements.
- Plan and monitor production activities across Wax Injection, Shelling, Casting, Fettling, Heat Treatment, Inspection, Machining, and Special Processes.
- Monitor WIP, inventory, production lead time, capacity utilization, bottlenecks, and schedule adherence.
- Establish production priorities based on customer requirements, shipment commitments, material availability, capacity, and process constraints.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Purchase, Commercial,



and Suppliers for uninterrupted production flow.
- Monitor customer orders and drive On-Time Delivery (OTD) through effective production and dispatch planning.
- Develop manpower and resource plans based on machine capacity, process requirements, skill availability, and shift requirements.
- Identify production constraints, risks, and potential delays and implement recovery and mitigation plans.
- Monitor material availability, inventory levels, consumption, slow-moving/obsolete inventory, and associated cost impact.
- Prepare and monitor PPC dashboards, Gantt charts, WIP reports, production reports, and management review data.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manufacturing lead time, WIP, waiting time, process losses, and production constraints.
- Support effective utilization of ERP/MRP systems, production orders, routings, BOMs, and planning master data.
- Support Recent Product Introduction (NPI), process qualification, customer requirements, and special-process planning.
- Participate in capacity planning, risk assessment, cross-functional problem solving, and strategic improvement projects.
- Ensure adherence to applicable AS9100, AS13100, customer-specific requirements, and internal procedures.
