About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior MEP Engineer to lead the lifecycle of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems for our major real estate developments in Mumbai. At this seniority, the role transitions from daily execution to strategic leadership, requiring you to oversee multiple project sites, manage engineering teams, handle high-level vendor negotiations, and ensure that all building systems align with the projects financial and architectural vision.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Leadership & Team Management: Lead a team of site-level MEP engineers and supervisors. Plan resource allocation and manpower deployment across multiple project phases to hit tight delivery milestones.
- Advanced Design & Value Engineering: Critically review consultant blueprints, vendor data sheets, and contractor shop drawings. Proactively identify clash resolutions using BIM/AutoCAD and lead value-engineering initiatives to optimize project costs without sacrificing quality.




- Procurement & Commercials: Lead the technical evaluation for tendering. Finalize technical specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and special contract terms. Negotiate with high-value vendors and certify contractor billing milestones.
- Regulatory Authority Approvals: Drive the liaison process with Mumbai municipal authorities, the fire department, and environmental boards to secure necessary NOCs, building permits, and final compliance certificates.
- Project Delivery & Handover: Oversee the final pre-commissioning and integrated performance testing of heavy equipment (chillers, DG sets, STP plants). Ensure a seamless handover to the facility management team with complete operation manuals and warranties.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Bachelors Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 7+ years of comprehensive MEP experience in the real estate development sector, with a track record of successfully delivering high-rise residential or commercial projects in Mumbai.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Navisworks/Revit (BIM). Solid grasp of complex HVAC and fire-suppression systems.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage large contractor workforces, resolve on-site disputes, and present technical-commercial reports to senior management.
