Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Windows Administrator (L2) with 3 to 5 years of experience in managing and supporting enterprise Windows environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Windows servers while ensuring system availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and administer Windows Server environments (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022).

- Perform installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Windows Servers.

- Administer and support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and File Services.

- Handle user account management, permission assignments, and access control.

- Monitor server health, performance, and capacity using monitoring tools.

- Perform incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis for recurring issues.

- Execute OS patching, security updates, and vulnerability remediation activities.

- Manage and troubleshoot Windows services, IIS, and application-related issues.

- Support backup and recovery operations using enterprise backup solutions.

- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity activities.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Security,



Network, Database, and Application teams.

- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and organizational compliance requirements.

- Provide support during maintenance activities, audits, and critical incidents.

- Experience in handling security advisories and remediation activities.

- Knowledge of ITIL processes and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.

- Exposure to automation and infrastructure management tools.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Relevant certifications preferred

- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server / Azure Administrator

- ITIL Foundation
