Position Overview:

We are looking for an Engineering Intern to work closely with our engineering and product teams on the development of Certinal’s platform.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, writing clean code, and learning how enterprise software is designed, developed, tested, and deployed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and enhance features across Certinal’s products.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Work on frontend, backend, APIs, or integrations depending on project requirements.
- Debug and resolve application issues.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering teams.
- Work with APIs, databases, and third-party system integrations.
- Help improve product performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Document technical implementations where required.
- Take ownership of assigned engineering tasks from development through completion.

Requirements:





- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and data structures.
- Hands-on experience with at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C++, or similar.
- Basic understanding of web application development, REST APIs, and databases.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valuable communication and collaboration skills.

Positive to Have

- Experience building personal, academic, or open-source software projects.
- Familiarity with React, Angular, Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, or similar frameworks.
- Understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of application security, authentication, or enterprise integrations.
- Previous internship or project experience in SaaS or product development.
