- Assist doctors and nursing staff during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.

- Prepare the endoscopy room, equipment, instruments, accessories, and required consumables before each procedure.

- Check the functionality and safety of endoscopy equipment before use.

- Assist in procedures such as UGI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Bronchoscopy and other endoscopic procedures as assigned.

- Handle endoscopes, light sources, processors, monitors, suction systems, electrosurgical units, and related equipment properly.

- Assist in connecting and arranging endoscopy accessories such as biopsy forceps, snares, injection needles, clips, and retrieval devices.

- Maintain proper infection prevention and control practices throughout the procedure.

- Perform cleaning, disinfection, drying, storage, and appropriate handling of endoscopes according to hospital protocols.

- Ensure proper functioning of the Endoscope Reprocessing / High-Level Disinfection (HLD) process.

- Maintain adequate stock of endoscopy instruments, consumables, PPE, disinfectants, and emergency supplies.

- Assist in patient preparation, positioning, transfer, and post-procedure care as directed by the clinical team.

- Follow standard precautions and ensure proper biomedical waste segregation and disposal.





- Maintain procedure records, equipment checklists, cleaning/reprocessing records, and other departmental documentation.

- Identify and immediately report any malfunction, damage, contamination, or shortage of equipment to the concerned supervisor.

- Assist in emergency situations occurring during endoscopic procedures and ensure emergency equipment is readily available.

- Ensure the endoscopy room is properly cleaned, organized, and ready for the next procedure.

- Handle specimens such as biopsy samples according to hospital policy and ensure proper labeling and transfer to the laboratory.

- Follow hospital policies related to patient safety, infection control, fire safety, biomedical waste management, and occupational safety.

- Participate in departmental training, quality improvement activities, audits, and competency assessments.

- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and demonstrate skilled and respectful communication with patients and healthcare staff.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
