– Embedded Test Engineer (HVAC & Automation)

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Embedded Test Engineer with expertise in embedded software testing, test automation, HVAC systems, and mobile application validation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing test strategies, executing manual and automated tests, debugging complex issues, and ensuring high-quality software delivery in a CI/CD environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test specifications based on product requirements.
- Execute manual and automated test cases for embedded software and system-level validation.
- Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot software defects through detailed root cause analysis.
- Work closely with development teams to validate fixes and ensure product quality.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Perform end-to-end validation of embedded systems, mobile applications, and HVAC control functionalities.
- Contribute to continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure test coverage, traceability, and compliance with quality standards.

Required Skills




- Strong experience in Embedded Software Testing and System Validation.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as:
- Robot Framework
- Playwright
- Similar test automation tools
- Experience in creating:
- Test Plans
- Test Specifications
- Test Reports
- Automated Test Suites
- Strong debugging, log analysis, and root cause identification skills.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Version Control Systems (Git/SVN).
- Hands-on experience in Mobile Application Testing (Android/iOS).
- Robust understanding of HVAC Systems, control logic, and system behavior.
- Good knowledge of software testing methodologies, defect management, and quality processes.

Preferred Skills
- Experience testing connected devices, embedded controllers, or IoT-based products.
- Exposure to HVAC automation and climate control systems.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Knowledge of API and integration testing.

Certifications
- ISTQB Advanced Level Certification (Preferred).

Educational Qualification
- BE/BTech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
