Description: Cluix is growing! We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Engineer to join our core engineering team. In this role, you will lead the architecture, development, and optimization of firmware and hardware-software interfaces for our next-generation water quality sensing instrumentation and IoT devices.

About The Role

- Architect, develop, and optimize high-reliability, low-power firmware for next-generation embedded systems and sensor instrumentation.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust hardware-software interfaces, peripheral drivers, and board support packages (BSPs).
- Integrate and optimize Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS like FreeRTOS / Zephyr) and bare-metal architectures.
- Lead board bring-up, validation, and diagnose complex system-level timing, memory, and hardware-firmware integration issues.
- Implement and optimize communication and telemetry protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, BLE, Cellular IoT / Wi-Fi).
- Conduct power profiling and optimization to maximize battery life for field-deployed portable devices.
- Establish firmware versioning, testing frameworks, and continuous integration (CI) workflows.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct peer code reviews, and collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, mechanical, chemical R&D;, and product teams.

Skill(s) required
- High proficiency in C, C++, assembly language, and embedded systems development.




- Extensive experience programming microcontrollers and processors (ARM Cortex-M/A series, STM32, ESP32, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with RTOS architecture, task scheduling, inter-process communication, and memory management.
- Strong understanding of hardware communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB).
- Ability to read schematics, evaluate PCB design specifications, and work closely with hardware design engineers.
- Familiarity with version control (Git), firmware build toolchains, and CI/CD pipelines.

Eligibility
- B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics & Communication (ECE), Computer Science (CSE), or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of hands-on professional experience in embedded systems and firmware development.
- Proven track record of taking embedded products from design and prototyping to mass production.
